Six New Corporators Elected at Bank of New Hampshire

New Hampshire – September 14, 2016 – Bank of New Hampshire is proud to announce the election of six new Corporators; Barbara McCahan, Ph.D., Brian Young, Frederick Kelsey, MD, FACP, Kevin Sullivan, Michael Conklin and Richard Piper. As Corporators, they will act as ambassadors for the Bank in the community and will be responsible for approving changes to the charter and bylaws.

Barbara is a former Director of Community Guaranty Savings Bank, a Professor and the Director of the Center for Active Living & Healthy Communities at Plymouth State University. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California San Diego and a master’s degree and a doctoral degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California Santa Barbara. Barbara is active in the community and currently serves as a mentor and the President of the Board for the Circle Program and is a Board member for the Bridge House. She is a longtime New Hampshire resident, a mother of two girls, Molly and Claire, and resides in Plymouth with her husband, Ted.

Brian is a former Director of Community Guaranty Savings Bank and is the President of Construx, Inc. He is a graduate from the University of New Hampshire with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Brian is a life-long New Hampshire resident, a father of six and a grandfather of five. He currently resides in Plymouth with his wife, Karen.

Fred is a former Director of Community Guaranty Savings Bank and is the Retired Medical Director of Mid-State Health Center. He is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in pre-medicine and holds a medical degree from Pennsylvania State College of Medicine. Fred is a longtime New Hampshire resident and currently resides in Plymouth with his wife, Katharina.

Kevin is a Commercial Real Estate Sales Associate for Weeks Commercial. He attended Plymouth State University where he studied Marketing and Accounting. Kevin is active in the community serving as an Incorporator for Lakes Region General Hospital and the Taylor Home, is a founding member of Laconia Main Street and is a Past President for the Laconia Country Club and Lakes Region Wavemakers. He is a life-long New Hampshire resident, a father of three girls, Danielle, Nicole and Brianna, and currently resides in Laconia with his wife, Karen. 

Mike is a former Director of Community Guaranty Savings Bank and is a partner with the law firm of Conklin and Reynolds, PA. He is a graduate from the University of New Hampshire School of Law with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Mike is active in the community serving as the current Chair for both the Plymouth Select Board and CADY (Communities for Alcohol and Drug Free Youth). He is a longtime New Hampshire resident, a father of two, Michael and James, and currently resides in Plymouth with his wife, Deborah. 

Dick is a former Director of Community Guaranty Savings Bank and is the President of R.M. Piper, Inc. He is a graduate from the Thompson School of Applied Science with an associate’s degree in Forestry. Dick is active in the community and has served two terms as a Plymouth Selectman and eighteen years as a Call Lieutenant and EMT for Plymouth Fire and Rescue. He is a life-long New Hampshire resident, a father of five and a grandfather of ten. Dick currently lives in Plymouth with his wife, Ann-Marie.
