Bank of New Hampshire Makes Improvements Possible at SCFJC

Rochester, New Hampshire – April 28, 2016 – Bank of New Hampshire is proud to support Strafford County Family Justice Center with a donation in the amount of $5,000 to help bring needed improvements to their facility in Rochester.

“By making improvements to their existing space, Strafford County Family Justice Center is able to continue to offer many different services and programs in one location, eliminating the obstacles many victims face in accessing services,” stated Leslie Simpson, AVP – Rochester Office Manager for Bank of New Hampshire. “Bank of New Hampshire is proud to support an organization who provides such a critical service to our community.”

The Strafford County Family Justice Center (SCFJC) is a collaboration between public and private agencies in Strafford County to centralize and coordinate services available to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse and stalking. Many victims are confronted with obstacles including having to locate services, having to find transportation to the myriad organizations, and having to tell his or her story over and over. “By eliminating these obstacles, victims can access a greater number of services, are more likely to work with prosecution to hold offenders accountable, and are able to gain skills to live happy, successful lives free of violence,” stated Tory Soper, Program Coordinator for Strafford County Family Justice Center. “The SCFJC builds relationships with clients so that they may continue to access services at any point in their journey.”
