12/01/2022

Gilford, New Hampshire – December 1, 2022 – Bank of New Hampshire is pleased to announce a $5,000 donation to Camp Resilience in support of their First Responders “Armor Up” Retreat in 2022.

Camp Resilience leverages the scenic outdoors of the New Hampshire Lakes Region to improve the physical, social, mental, and emotional well-being of Military Service Members, Veterans, First Responders, and their Families. The organization is committed to offering quality therapeutic retreats at no cost to participants. Camp Resilience cultivates outdoor learning/sports activities, life skills training classes, and peer-to-peer counseling in a fun retreat setting. By bolstering wellness and mental health, retreats inspire the participants to positively impact their world. Camp Resilience is dedicated to empowering and encouraging each First Responder and Veteran to rediscover their own unique brand of resiliency.

Steven Veinotte, Camp Resilience Executive Director commented, “It takes a village to ensure that our First Responders receive the care and support that they require and deserve. At Camp Resilience, we embrace that charge at a local level. Through the generous donation from Bank of New Hampshire, Camp Resilience is fortunate to be able to serve our greatest assets; local First Responders.”
