Bank of New Hampshire announces retirement of Valerie Drouin, Prestige Plus Manager

After working 44 years in the banking industry with 28 at Bank of New Hampshire, Valerie Drouin, Senior Vice President is retiring at the end of June, 2018.

Valerie Drouin has managed the Prestige Plus Program since its inception in 1989, and has watched it grow to over 3,500 members. She states, “Fifty percent of our members have taken advantage of the travel benefits. In the past 28 years, we have offered 290 day trips around New England and 55 overnight extended trips throughout the U.S. and world. Prestige Plus members also enjoy free seminars on topics such as identity theft and fraud, Facebook, iPad/iPhone, investing, estate planning, and computer/internet use.

Under the direction of Mrs. Drouin, the Prestige Plus program has received national and statewide recognition including a feature in Bank Travel Magazine. Additionally, Mrs. Drouin received statewide recognition when past Governor Lynch presented her with the 2008 New Hampshire Travel Council Special Recognition award. Valerie is a graduate of the New England School of Banking, Bank Marketing School and earned her travel agent certification.

Mrs. Drouin stated, “While I have enjoyed every minute of the best job in the United States, I look forward to spending more time with my husband Tom, my two grown children and three amazing grandchildren.”

Cindy Salta will assume management of the Prestige Plus program. Mrs. Salta, Prestige Plus Officer, has over 20 years with Bank of New Hampshire and 7 years with the program.
