Bill Zafirson to Lead Bank of New Hampshire Retail Lending Team

Laconia, New Hampshire – December 15, 2015 – Bank of New Hampshire is proud to announce that Bill Zafirson has joined their Retail Lending team as Senior Vice President – Chief Mortgage and Retail Lending Officer.

Bill has over 31 years of experience in the financial services industry with deep experience in the residential mortgage and consumer lending area. In his new role with Bank of New Hampshire, Bill will become a member of the Management Committee and will oversee responsibility for the overall consumer and mortgage lending functions including sales and originations. “We welcome Bill to the Bank of New Hampshire family and look forward to building a leading mortgage business in New Hampshire,” stated Mark Primeau, President and CEO for Bank of New Hampshire.

Bill holds a Bachelor’s degree from Bates College and a Master’s degree from the University of Southern Maine, School of Business and Economics. Bill is active in the community and is the past chair of Sweetser, a behavioral and mental health service provider supporting the needs of over 16,000 children, adults and families. He is also actively involved with fundraising and has served as an Auctioneer with many charitable organizations to include Brewster Academy, Portland Symphony Orchestra, March of Dimes and the Ronald McDonald House.
